Digital cartography

Basically, a map is an abstract, usually two-dimensional depiction of a certain space, in our case of sections of the terrestrial surface. Today, virtually all topographic or road maps, etc. are produced using digital cartography, just like the computerised thematic and image maps that GeoVille derives from EO data.

Our business is the creation of maps to suit the individual contents specifications, cartographic standards and accuracy requirements of our clients.

Digital Cartography based on Geographic Information Systems results in highly flexible, scalable, cost-efficient and adaptive map contents and layout. Mapping products are conveyed to the customer in digital media or – with decreasing importance – as paper printouts
