GI analysis

For many customers, EO-derived spatial information like land cover maps can only partly fulfil their requirements. They ask for complex information products, which rely on integrated geo-data analysis in Geographic Information Systems.

Technically, those products may involve the combination and evaluation of various EO-based geospatial and statistical data in raster, vector and tabular formats. For instance, land use zoning, soil maps and EO-derived land cover data allow us to locate and quantify potential building land within settlements and to visualise this information in synoptic maps.

One of the specific strengths of GeoVille is to provide such products based on integrated GI data analysis, ready for usage by the decision makers.
